I'm really glad I ended up here, even if it means I had to leave the others behind. This place may not be paradise, but there are people here who like me for who I am, and for me... that is paradise enough. What more can you ask for than people to care about, who care about you too?

Sheska, I found a lost kitten! Will you help me find her owners? I don't know how to make posters but I was told that was a good way to do it?

I'm sure we'll visit again. I seem to get lost and run into the same people often. It's like a gift.

No worries about last time. I was more upset that you were injured and bleeding than anything else. It surprised me to see you change, but if that's how things are, then that's fine with me.

Do you mind if I ask? Is that normal for wolves to be able to appear as human? I don't think I've even met one personally, so I don't know if that's a strange question.

Where I come from it is normal. I was told we adapted the ability when our species was being exterminated, to protect ourselves from extinction by blending in with the humans.

As far as I know all of us can do it, but I haven't met any other wolves in Desai, so I'm not sure if they can or not here.

Back home... people really don't like wolves, so I'm not really used to people reacting so well to finding out. The last two people who found out there, one of them tried to shoot me and the other was so frightened of me she wouldn't even let me come near her.

A kitten? Posters are a wonderful way to advertise. We'll have to get a picture of it, find out where you found it, if it has a collar we can get its name... And then we'll have to write up the posters. I wonder if there is a way to take still photos with a web camera.

If you would like to come over this evening, and bring the kitten with you, we can work on that together!

I found her in the park, she was very hungry so I caught her a fish!

Wonderful! I'm sure she needed it, poor thing. When you bring her over tonight, we'll get her some cat food - Iau can share. If you can get her some fresh water in the meantime, that will do her a lot of good. You must seem like a savior to her.

I will! She purrs a lot. I think she must like me somewhat at least even if she did bite me once.

I was, with my friends where I came from. But I don't think I could find it without them. I'm not brave enough to go out on my own and find it.

Oh, I see. Well you know sometimes going out on your own you can run into the most amazing things. Though I suppose it's always better with two or more mates around than on your own.
