No one told me school was going to be this confusing.

I don't even know what these little symbols mean. They don't look like any numbers I've seen. 


... I wonder if the teacher's will accept some form of homework other than written.

Not at all! I wish I'd known earlier, and then we could have gotten a head start before you went to school! But it never occurred to me, really, since I'm reading practically all the time. I'd love to teach you. We'll set up a teaching time after dinner but before dessert each night - does that sound all right? Will it still give you enough time to do your homework?

Of course! I'll just stop by the library as well and see if i can find any good books for that sort of thing, and I'm almost positive I know which shelf I put those on upstairs. If you feel like going to look, it should be the second row on the right in the second library, left-hand side, middle shelf of the third unit -- look for the thin books with brightly-colored hard spines and pick out two that look the most interesting to you, all right?
